EMMA NAMED PRODUCER OF NEW CONCERT SERIES

Emma, along with a few other Mannes students, has been keeping busy this semester directing and producing a new student concert series entitled Open Note. The series features eight student recitals, each curated and performed by students from the Mannes School of Music. Emma is proud to be a founding member of Open note and hopes to keep you updated on more future events!

EMMA TO PERFORM AT STEINWAY HALL, CARNEGIE HALL

Emma is very excited to announce that the Spring of 2023 will bring appearances at both Steinway Hall and Carnegie Hall of New York. She will be performing there on 4/29 and 5/8 respectively. Both of these events are private, but videos soon to come!

JACOB TAKES TOP PRIZE!!!!!!

FEBRUARY 25 – Jacob is so proud to have been awarded the top prize in the Mankato Symphony Concerto Competition, playing the third movement of Tchaikovky’s First Piano Concerto, accompanied by Kerri LeJeune. The award came with a $1500 stipend and an opportunity to solo with the Mankato Symphony this fall! Read about it here!!!!

JACOB PLAYS AT ORCHESTRA HALL

January saw Jacob make his fourth appearance at Minneapolis’s Orchestra Hall as a participant in the YPSCA Minnesota Orchestra Concerto Competition. He is very proud to have been awarded the Schmidt Music Award in this competition!!

JACOB PLACES IN CONCERTO COMPETITION

DECEMEBR 3RD – Jacob is so honored to announce that he has been awarded the 2nd place in the St Paul Piano teacher’s Concerto Competition. He competed the incredibly difficult third movement of Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto in Bb Minor, accompanied by Kerri LeJeune.

CECILIA PLACES IN STATE COMPETITION

Ceciliia (now age 10) recently entered the Minnesota State Fair’s Amateur Talent Competition and took home second place in the semi-final round!!!! She plays a dazzling rendition of Chopin’s Fantasie Impromptu and wowed over 500 people at the Leinie Lodge Bandshell, judges and audience members alike. Congratulations to Cecilia!!!

Emma just recently returned from California where she was competing in the Waring International Piano Competition. She made it through three of four rounds before being awarded Honorable Mention. Congrats to Emma!!
